The Department for Interanational Trade invites UK-based businesses to join a delegation to Georgia and Armenia, led by the PM's Trade and Investment Envoy to the countries, Mark Pritchard MP.

GEORGIA – Financial and Related Professional Services, Infrastructure and Urban Modernisation.

Georgia is at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, with a reform-minded government, DCFTA Agreement with EU and one of the top ten easiest places to do business in the world. Growth is projected at 4-5 per cent next year, with opportunities in financial and related professional services and infrastructure, including tourism development.

ARMENIA – Renewable Energy, Infrastructure and Urban Modernisation.

With its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and new comprehensive partnership agreement with the EU, Armenia is seeking to position itself in a strategic economic role in the region. Monday 4 June

Briefing by HM Ambassador at the British Embassy; group meetings with Ministers of Economy and Finance; lunch with business associations and multilateral development banks and investors including London listed Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank; B2B meetings.

Tuesday 5 June

Business seminars; free time followed by an evening reception hosted by the HM Ambassador.

Wednesday 6 June

Travel to Yerevan. Briefing by HM Ambassador; group meetings with the Yerevan Mayor, Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers of Economy, Energy and Transport; lunch with the country  directors of Multilateral Development Banks and International Organisations; dinner with the largest UK businesses in Armenia and Big Four consulting firms.

Thursday 7 June

Business seminars led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Director of Business Armenia, common networking lunch with all the participants, B2B sessions with pre-screened potential partners and networking reception by the HM Ambassador.
