Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce joins COBCOE

Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce is the second UK chamber of commerce to become a COBCOE member. The chamber is the unified voice of business and the premier advocacy organisation in Hertfordshire, a county bordering the north of Greater London. Its goal is to develop a shared, collaborative vision for the county through extensive interaction with local chambers, business communities and support organisations.

The chamber has recently launched the Hertfordshire Global division, which incorporates their long-standing international division and capitalises on their ever increasing network, underpinned by COBCOE Connects, to help members do business internationally.

Following a change to the COBCOE articles of association at the AGM in April, members can now join from within the UK. Hertfordshire Chamber joins Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group as UK members.

Anne-Marie Martin, COBCOE Chief Executive, said: "We are both pleased and excited to have such an internationally focused and forward thinking chamber on board as our newest UK member. This brings a whole new dimension to our membership offering by developing the existing connections between UK chambers and their European counterparts, and in turn their member businesses."

Hertfordshire Global are hosting a black-tie dinner this evening, where Anne-Marie will be speaking on the challenges of Brexit whether they can encourage us to reconsider our exit strategy, review the way we do business and really create a change in culture, mindset and ultimately behaviour. This event is now sold out, but more information can be found here.
