COBCOE launch 45th Anniversary Annual Conference events

We are pleased to share dates and further information on our Annual Conference events, which will take place over 8-9 October, to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of COBCOE.

On both the 8 and 9 October, our Training Academy will take place, hosted by Flywire, the leading international payments solution provider. The first day of training will be led by Sue Froggatt, the international membership organisation specialist, who will be delivering a new workshop based on the theme. The second day of training will be led by Anne-Marie Martin, CEO of COBCOE, and focus on exchanging best practice within the network as chambers look to meet the challenges and opportunities afforded by future trends. Details and booking can be found here.

Our Annual Conference will take place in the evening of the 8 October, focusing on the Commonwealth. The conference will explore Brexit, the Commonwealth and Trade, in addition to innovation in Commonwealth countries, with guest speakers including Lord Marland, Chairman, Commonwealth Enterprise and Innovation Council, and Julie Hotchkiss, Director Europe & America, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.Tickets for the conference are free of charge and available here

The Annual Conference will conclude with our Awards Dinner and Dance on 9 October, where we will be joined by special guest speaker Miriam González Durántez, Partner, Dechert LLP and Founder and Chair, Inspiring Girls. The Awards Dinner and Dance will serve as the celebration of our Anniversary, but also of the hard work and dedication of our member chambers across the network in the past year. The dinner will also highlight businesses in our network who have been successful in developing internationally as part of our Make Europe Work! Trade Awards.
